When Joseph and Mary, now pregnant, travel to Bethlehem for the Roman census, they face a threat from King Herod. The obsession with an ancient prophecy puts Joseph, Mary, and the soon-to-be-born Jesus in danger. Now 12-year-old Jesus makes a trip to Egypt to Nazareth after the young man miraculously brings someone back to life. When King Herod orders the boy&#8217;s death, the Roman centurion Severus begins to chase the family across the desert.
