They are sent to forced labor camps, and the only way they have to live a better life there is by renouncing their Spanish nationality. Only two of them accept this condition, but the other Spaniards begin a struggle to maintain their loyalty to Franco&#8217;s values, led by Captain Adrados, who is responsible for branding as traitors all those who give in to improve their conditions.
