Founded and dedicated by Count Gonzalo T\u00e9llez and his wife Do\u00f1a Lambra to Saint Peter, on January 12, 912. Renovated in the 17th and 18th centuries in its double cloister, and hostel dependency, but not escaping the terrible confiscation. The Church has the layout of a Romanesque temple and on the outside the influence of late Romanesque can be seen. \n\n ","localizacion_rutas":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The ruins of the historic Monastery of San Pedro de Arlanza in Hortig\u00fcela were converted into a religious convent that served as a military hospital in <i>The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. <\/i>Inside, packed with wounded, is where Tuco takes Blondie to heal his wounds after crossing the desert.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Monastery, one of the most impressive monasteries in the county of Castile, is located in the heart of the Sierra de las Mamblas in Burgos, in a narrow bend of the Arlanza River, whose erosive work on the limestone rock has turned the valley into a steep canyon, full of oaks and junipers.
