The opening shot of the film shows a church engulfed in flames, razed by Muslim troops. The hero rescued from the ruins and brought down from the altar a large crucified Christ shot by the Saracens. In the background of the scene, the tower of the Collegiate church of San Miguel de Ampudia can be seen.   <\/span><\/p>\nThis town in Palencia, declared a Historic Site in 1965, has been named one of the most beautiful villages in Spain.
