It is one of the most beautiful monumental urban squares in Europe. Construction began in 1729 by the architect Alberto de Churriguera, followed by his nephew Manuel de Lara Churriguera and was completed by Andr\u00e9s Garc\u00eda de Qui\u00f1ones in 1755. Located in the center of the city, it forms an irregular supported quadrilateral, with three floors on each fa\u00e7ade, presided over by the City Hall.
