A bridge capable of connecting the 'decuman' gate to the west with the opposite bank of the river.\n\nOf the primitive Roman bridge, only the abutments remain hidden at the edges. The present bridge is from the 12th century, a time of splendor of the city. It currently has three arches supported by piles with ashlars reused from the Roman necropolis.
