It is a large fenced area with two control towers, simulating the sets of the film. ","localizacion_rutas":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Another of the locations for <i>The Good, the Bad and the Ugly<\/i> was the Betterville concentration camp, on a hillock outside the town of Carazo known as Majada de las Merinas. An imposing fort was built there with deep ditches, a stockade and several outbuildings where the worst of the war was to be represented. Sergio Leone was inspired by real engravings and photographs of the American Civil War and the northern camp of Andersonville (Georgia) taken by Mathew Brady in 1864.
