In a mountain cattle town, two brothers (Carlos and Paco), who maintain a relationship of strong mutual dependence, share the paternity of the daughter of one of them, an 11-year-old girl. During the village festivals in the summer, among other strangers, a disturbing oriental woman (Keiko) arrives accompanied by a man. During the dance, a violent event occurs and the man is reported missing. The woman is temporarily welcomed into the house of the brothers.
