Professionals and companies in the audiovisual sector that carry out their activity in Castilla y León can access different aids and subsidies organized by regional, state and European entities aimed at stimulating audiovisual creation and production.
Their objective is to support the production and promotion, distribution and national and international dissemination of works linked to the Community of Castilla y León.
The Department of Culture, Tourism and Sports annually announces two lines of subsidies, available as of September: one to finance the implementation of and another to finance the pre-production, production and distribution of short films. feature films, documentaries and fiction, and animation and television series pilots.

The Instituto Leónes de Cultura (ILC) is an autonomous body of the Provincial Council of León, founded in 1994 in order to bring together, expand and rationalize all the cultural activities of this provincial administration.
The Call dor Audiovisual Projects is a grant aimed at supporting the pre-production, production, filming, post-production, or distribution of audiovisual projects related to the province of León, whether documentary or fiction. The aid may be used to cover any of the production phases of the audiovisual creations benefitting from it.

These grants are established as direct support for movie theaters so that they remain open and citizens do not lose the habit of accessing a varied cultural offer, guaranteeing the presence of community cinema programming.
The General Subdirectorate of Promotion of Cultural Industries and Patronage, a unit dependent on the Ministry of Culture and Sports, works on the design of policies for the development and promotion of cultural industries, as well as the participation of society in the processes of cultural creation and revitalization. ICEX Spain Exportation and Investment is a national public business entity, dependent on the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, whose mission is to promote the internationalization of Spanish companies and the promotion of foreign investment. In particular, Audiovisual from Spain is an ICEX initiative in collaboration with the ICAA and other public and private organizations, dedicated to reporting on markets, tax incentives and co-productions with Spain.

La Agencia Cultural Española (AC/E) es una entidad pública dedicada a impulsar y promocionar la cultura y el patrimonio de España, dentro y fuera de sus fronteras, a través de un amplio programa de actividades que incluye exposiciones, encuentros, cine, teatro, música, producciones audiovisuales e iniciativas que fomentan la movilidad de profesionales y creadores.
The Program for the Internationalization of Spanish Culture (PICE) promotes and facilitates the international presence of the Spanish creative and cultural sector through two lines of support, of interest to creators and cultural entities linked to the audiovisual sector:
El programa MEDIA of the European Union was born in 1991 to support the European audiovisual sector. Created to increase the competitiveness of European producers and distributors, since 2014 it has been a subprogram of Creative Europe and depends on the Executive Agency for Education, Audiovisual and Culture (EACEA).
The program has four delegations in our country, including the MEDIA Spain Office, a cultural foundation that informs, guides and advises professionals in the audiovisual sector throughout Spain on the program (except Andalusia, Catalonia and the Basque Country, which have their own offices).
Eurimages is a fund to support European cinema established in 1989 by the Council of Europe. In addition to carrying out promotional and collaborative actions at festivals, awards and laboratories, and having a program to fight for gender equality in the European audiovisual sector, it has 3 lines of aid to companies in the sector:
Ibermedia is a program to encourage the development, training and co-production of fiction films and documentaries. Puesto en marcha por la Conferencia de Autoridades Audiovisuales y Cinematográficas de Iberoamérica (CAACI) en 1998, su misión es trabajar para la creación de un espacio audiovisual iberoamericano por medio de ayudas financieras y a través de convocatorias que están abiertas a todos los productores independientes de cine de los países miembros de América Latina, España, Portugal e Italia.
Crea SGR is a non-profit financial entity, subject to the supervision and inspection of the Bank of Spain, whose objective is to obtain and improve financing for SMEs in the sectors in which it operates by endorsing operations with financial entities.
The Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO), is corporate state-owned entity, attached to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, via the State Secretariat for Economy and Enterprise Support. It has the ICO CRTVE Film Production financing line, aimed at Spanish audiovisual producers whose mission is to finance the production of newly produced audiovisual works (feature films and short films, television films,
