Adaptation of the theatrical drama of the same title by Lope de Vega. In the height of the Middle Ages, a chieftain does nothing more than harass a beautiful girl who is engaged to one of her servants. The situation reaches such an extreme that, to avoid dishonoring the young woman, there is no other recourse than to request the intervention of the King himself.
