In 1941 the residents of Manzaneda del Torío celebrated the patron saint’s day of the Virgin of Manzaneda. After the procession and mass, they attend a festival entertained by the León Orchestra. The festive atmosphere is cut short when two girls, Socorro and Lola, start a fight over Narciso. To everyone’s astonishment, the girls relive, during the dance, the brawl itself narrated in the song that the Orchestra is performing: ”The streets of Granada”.
