Mombeltrán Castle is surrounded by a landscape of singular beauty, in the Sierra de Gredos. In 1461, it was donated by King Enrique IV to his favourite Don Beltrán de la Cueva, ancestor of the current owner and also owner of the Cuéllar castle. It consists of two square enclosures with circular towers in the corners. It preserves the remains of columns, walls and stairs inside, and is owned by the Duke of Alburquerque.
