Nestled surprisingly on top of the hill of La Muela is the beautiful town of Frías. The unique buildings of this steep and small town in Burgos preserve the best Castilian architectural tradition, as can be seen in the houses that hang over the Ebro River. The magnificent medieval bridge stands out, built following the repopulation carried out by Alfonso VIII.
