Riaño is located in the heart of the Cantabrian Mountains, in the province of León. It is the youngest town in the province of León, which was formed as a result of the construction of the reservoir and the destruction of the old town. The new population center has been able to provide itself with first-class infrastructure. The tourist possibilities are unlimited: mountaineering, hiking, caving expeditions, horseback riding and sports.
