The Sierra de Gredos Regional Park is a mountain range located in the western sector of the Central System of the Iberian Peninsula, in the south of the province of Ávila. It covers an area of 86,236 hectares. Shaped by erosion during past glacial periods, it presents a spectacular succession of lakes, cirques, gorges, sharp cliffs, cliffs, galayos, and morainic deposits.
