Audiovisual industry professionals are participating in an exclusive fam trip, organized by the Castilla y León Film Commission, from October 17-21.
The fam trip brings together ten audiovisual industry professionals from the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Poland, Germany, and Spain. Participants, including location designers, art directors and producers, have major international projects and are interested in filming in Spain, representing a unique opportunity to showcase the potential of Castilla y León as a location for high-impact productions.
The planned itinerary covers the provinces of Valladolid, Zamora, Salamanca, Ávila, and Segovia, highlighting sites of great historical, cultural, and cinematic significance. Attendees will visit cities such as Zamora, Salamanca, and Ávila, as well as some of the region’s most important film studios. They will also discover iconic monuments and buildings such as the Buen Amor Castle, the Riofrío Palace, and the modern Lienzo Norte Exhibition and Conference Center in Ávila. The tour will also include some picturesque towns in the region, such as Las Navas del Marqués in the province of Ávila; Ciudad Rodrigo and Alba de Tormes in Salamanca; and Urueña and Tordesillas in Valladolid, among others.
This fam trip has been supported by the Valladolid Film Commission, the Salamanca Film Commission, the Segovia Film Commission, the city councils of Zamora, Salamanca, Ávila, Ciudad Rodrigo, Alba de Tormes, and Las Navas del Marqués, as well as the provincial councils of Valladolid and Segovia. The event also received support from the managers of the sites and monuments visited, who facilitated the visit to these locations.
