When Gonzalo Torregrosa, owner and founder of the Torregrosa Funeral Home, dies, Dámaso Carrillo, his right-hand man in the company, has no doubt that the best thing for the continuity of the business is for him to take over. But, against all odds, Nieves, the septuagenarian widow, decides to take over the family business, helped by her useless and enthusiastic son-in-law, Chemi, an expert in Marketing, and against her daughters’ plans to close down and set up a gym.
