Peru, 18th century. The story moves from the brothels and theaters of Lima to the majestic Court of Spain, from the Peruvian archbishop’s palaces to the Inquisition of Madrid. When the San Luis bridge breaks, five travelers fall into the abyss. Is it chance or the hand of God that brought these five people together in that place at that fateful moment?
