In 1984, after returning to Spain after 45 years of exile, the intellectual María Zambrano was awarded the Cervantes Prize. 2004 marked the centenary of her birth in Vélez-Málaga. This is an attempt to explore the life of a woman who made thought a poetic and personal commitment. Lola, a young journalist, attends Zambrano’s press conference to commemorate the awarding of the Cervantes Prize. When she learns that Zambrano was a professor, although she never practiced, as happened to other Republican intellectuals, she decides to make a film about her. (FILMAFFINITY)
