Argentine director, screenwriter, and creative producer based in Spain, with over twenty years of experience in the audiovisual sector. Deeply rooted in auteur cinema, her work moves between creation and production, with a particular focus on character-driven storytelling. As a director, she explores themes of desire and queer love with sensitivity, intimacy, and a naturalistic approach. Her 16 mm short film Días Blancos (White Days) was widely showcased at international festivals, and her most recent work, Aracnidas (Arachnids), continues its festival journey. She is currently finalizing two new short films, Break-ups and Paréntesis (Parentheses), both in post-production.
Founder of Alfonsina al Mar Cine S.R.L., she has championed auteur cinema through the development, financing, and international co-production of film and television projects. Her producing credits include the commercially released feature films “El sueño imposible” (The impossible dream), “Familia de artistas” (Family of artists) and “El trovador siempre vuelve” (The troubadour always comes back), as well as the series “Retumbando la palabra” (Resonating the word)
Over the course of her career, she has worked extensively in executive, line, and archive production for both documentary and fiction projects. Her portfolio includes titles distributed through leading platforms such as Amazon Prime Video and HBO Max, among them “Bilardo, el doctor del fútbol” (Bilardo, the doctor of football), “Train Jam”, “La belleza del Instante” (The beauty of the moment), “Me busco lejos” (I look for myself far away), and “Los Tinelli” ( The Tinellis). Through these projects, she has developed broad expertise across all stages of the production process, from development and financing to delivery and distribution.
She actively collaborates with the MujerDoc International Feminist Documentary Film Festival in Soria. Two of her current projects as a co-writer were selected at different festivals and labs: the short film “No hay pingüinos en Benidorm,” (There are no penguins in Benidorm) a finalist at the Shortpitch of the 10th Skyline; and “Sturmfrei,” a contemporary queer fiction series selected for the “From Idea to Pilot” program at the 12th edition of Die Seriale in Germany.
