Attached within the walls to the northern section of the wall, it was ordered to be built at the beginning of the 16th century by the descendants of a family of French origin who settled in Ávila since the Repopulation. The building, with a square floor plan, is built with ashlar, masonry and rammed earth and is a symbiosis of late Gothic elements with others from the beginning of the Renaissance. It is currently the headquarters of the Culture Delegation of the Government of Castilla y León.
