It is, along with the Church, the most emblematic building in the town. It is a Gothic construction from the 15th century. The plan has a pentagonal shape, rising at the angles with airy and slender towers, with varied geometry. Three stand out: one with a circular plan, another square and a third hexagonal, as a symbol of lordship, hence its greater height. A patrol-surveillance path parallel to the row of battlements runs along the perimeter of the castle.
