The remains of the construction are laid out along the summit of the hill, with a large square-shaped keep tower visible, separated from the rest of the enclosure by a thick wall. Openings and signs of wooden beams can be seen. It would have had four floors and walls two meters thick. The southern wall is reinforced by semicircular towers, two of which flank the access gate and serve to defend it with a rudimentary machicolation. In the northern wall there is a small door (sally port), and inside a cistern can be made out. To the east, at the tip of the cliff, there is a freestanding circular tower that would allow monitoring of the enemy. The castle is in a precarious state of preservation, a result of its disuse and the reuse of its materials in current constructions.
