To the north of the province of León, within the municipalities of Cármenes and Vegacervera, lies the Hoces de Vegacervera, a protected natural space formed by the erosion of the Torio river on the limestone rock. The verticality of the walls that have been formed and the narrow valley make up an incredible landscape, and a place where different formations associated with the dissolution of the limestone rock can be observed.
