The Jardín de la Merced, next to the square of the same name, was inaugurated in 1974. It sits on the wall and offers visitors peace and rest, as well as a view of the Tormes River, the Roman Bridge and the lands to the south of the province. It is also called the Lookout of the Faculty of Science.
