The building of the old sausage factory is the work of architects Heliodoro Dols Morell and Francisco de Inza Campos (1963-1966), belonging to the Madrid organicist movement, an expressive style that sought the interrelation between architecture and nature.
The factory floor plan, organic at first glance, is almost the literal result of drawing and working out a manufacturing process: from the waiting stables and slaughterhouses for livestock, to ending in the packaging, conservation and shipping areas.
