La Pola de Gordón is a town and municipality located in the Central Mountain of León, 34 km from León capital. It is located at 1,021 meters above sea level and has a total population of 3,823 inhabitants. It is part of the Alto Bernesga Biosphere Reserve along with the municipality of Villamanín. The entire area is considered natural heritage. It is an ideal environment to enjoy nature, which allows one to discover all the secrets of the biosphere.
