The Yecla Gorge is one of the narrowest gorges in the country, measuring approximately 600 metres in length, with a width that in some places barely exceeds 2 metres and vertical walls of more than 100 metres in height. It is part of the Sabinares del Arlanza – La Yecla Natural Park, very close to the Cañón de Río Lobos Natural Park, which preserves one of the best and most extensive juniper forests in the world, with some specimens that are more than 2,000 years old.
