The Lobos River Canyon is an impressive natural park located between the provinces of Burgos and Soria. It is a magnificent natural reserve with spectacular karst landscapes sculpted over time by the waters of the Lobos River. It has an area of almost 11,000 hectares and the canyon measures more than 24 km in length. It is known, above all, for its hiking trails, for the esoteric Templar hermitage of San Bartolomé, and for its important colony of griffon vultures.
