Located under the wall that overlooks the Duero River, the museum is presented to the city of Zamora as a chest that contains its jewels and its memory. Its cubic and rotund profile, nestled in the middle of a sloping block with rugged topography, is offered as a contrast with the nineteenth-century farmhouse and with the volumes of the Cordón Palace and the Santa Lucía Church that surround it.
