Cuevas Menudas are called artificial cavities that are located more than 70 meters above the plain near the León municipality of Villasabariego. They were believed to be caves from the Neolithic period but recent studies consider that they are ancient early medieval hermitages that would date between the 5th and 9th centuries BC.
