The Factory of Tableros de Fibras S.A. (TAFISA) is located on the outskirts of Valladolid, near the Canal de Castilla and the Pisuerga River. Its commercial success has led to multiple expansions and modernizations, but the original buildings from the 1960s, designed by the architects Santiago de la Fuente Viqueira and Antonio Vallejo Acebedo, remain well preserved. The special panel building stands out for its sawtooth roof, which allows a homogeneous distribution of light inside. The façade combines concrete and exposed brick, showing a brutalist aesthetic in line with the avant-garde trends of the time. This building has been recognized in the Iberian Registry of Documentation of the Modern Movement (DO.CO.MO.MO.).
