Towers
At the foot of the Roman road that linked Astorga with Zaragoza as it passed through Masegoso, in the uninhabited area of the municipality of Pozalmuro, stands the medieval tower of Masegoso. Together with those built in La Pica, Aldealpozo, Castellanos del Campo and Noviercas, it belonged to a defensive network that ran along the Christian-Muslim border. Today they form part of what is known as the Route of the Towers.
