A television film that blends reality and fiction and revolves around the failed coup d’état in Spain on February 23, 1981. Leal, a sick sixty-year-old who was convicted in the February 23 trial, is visited by Zárate, a former comrade-in-arms who saved his life but also betrayed him. After thirty years without seeing each other, Zárate returns to collect the debt for having saved him from death at the hands of ETA. The ghosts of the coup will return to destabilize the families of the two men, who will embark on an adventure to recover confidential documents that, if revealed, would have devastating effects on democracy.
