In 2000, 24-year-old Nevenka Fernández, a councillor for Finance at Ponferrada City Hall, is relentlessly persecuted, both emotionally and professionally, by the mayor, a man accustomed to doing what he wants in both political and personal matters. Nevenka decides to file a complaint, although she knows she will have to pay a high price: her entourage does not support her, Ponferrada society turns its back on her and the media subjects her to a public trial. Her case sparks the #metoo movement in Spain long before the term was invented. A story based on real events that makes its protagonist a pioneer by bringing an influential and popular politician to court for the first time for sexual and workplace harassment.
