Angel (Ovidi Montllor) is a poacher who lives in a forest with his mother (Lola Gaos), a tyrannical and violent woman. On one of his rare trips to the city, he meets Milagros (Alicia Sánchez), a girl who has escaped from a reformatory and who is the lover of a criminal called El Cuqui.
