France, 17th century. The young and brave D’Artagnan heads to Paris to fulfill his dream of joining the musketeers. Upon arrival, he has a confrontation with Athos, Porthos and Aramis, without suspecting who they are. He then learns that Cardinal Richelieu has disbanded the musketeer guard, despite which they, with the help of d’Artagnan, are determined to continue protecting King Louis XIII from the Cardinal’s intrigues.
