Palacio de Riofrío
Architecture and heritage
Historic heritage, Palaces
The Royal Palace of Riofrío is surrounded by more than 600 hectares of forest of great biodiversity. The building stands out for its unity of style and for its linear, orderly and harmonious appearance, which resonates with the classic echo of Roman palaces. Despite its uniqueness and the beauty of its surroundings, it was uninhabited for more than a hundred years, which makes it one of the Royal Sites managed by National Heritage that is least known to the general public, but one of the most special.
