To the west of the province of Zamora and on the border with Portugal is a town declared of tourist interest in the category of Ethnological Sites by the Junta de Castilla y León. It presents an architecture characterized by its adaptation to natural conditions, traditional functions and the use of predominant materials in the area, such as stone, slate and wood. Thus, it is a place that perfectly respects the typical architecture of Sanabria and Carballeda.
